just wondering what sort of power are peoples hilux's are running on the dyno with the v8s as aposed to 3rz turbo? would be intrested to see the differnt power at different revs between the two. i know tyre size and gearing will play a part in it to so post that up as well. my hilux just made 185 kw ...

i have a couple from the snow but they are pretty shit quality as they were taken from a phone and it really doesnt do it justice. keep in mind that i already have 55hid head lights which are fairly bright

2nd that on the 30 inch light bar from rigid, best money i have spent on the car i reackon. Took it in the snow 2 weeks ago and was very impressed with it

I did a 3rz conversion into my hilux about a year ago now, It was getting arouond 6.8-7.0km per litre (thats reading straight off the dash, i understand that the tyres make it a difference reading) but in the last 1000km or so its been dropping down to around 6.3km per litre. Never use the pin inside the receiver.
It can bend. It is meant to be used in double shear with a rceiver in it.
Also edges of hole can damage a strap under load.
Use a reeiver socket with a D shackle mount on it.

Are they 33's on your hilux? What sort of fuel econmy are you returning? Mine seems to chew through it when i put weight in it. But it does have plenty of balls for a 4 banger

I was able to use my 22r radiator, i went to exhaust fix in croydon for a hole new exhaust, 2-1/4 inch with a straight through muffler and hotdog and it sounds fairly good for $330.

having just done the same conversion last year, its far easier if you have a body lift, theres a couple of small things also. we had to bend the exhaust in the press as it was to close to the firewall, had to wrap the hand break cable in heat proof material.

Im chasing a Eaton mp62 supercharger. Does any one know some where in AUS that would deal with second hand chargers? I just want to avoid importing one from the states if i can.

mine is using the stock temp gauge, i couldnt tell you which wire went where, but my my brother might know as he did most of the wireing. mine is a 92 (had a 22r)

maybe burn them out? use a press? as for moving the mounts, either use big arse shackles or move them.

exhaust fix is the way to go, have a few mates that have used them and they are great.

mate there was a thread like 2 or 3 weeks ago about flexing IFS springs!
