I can assure you that it is movement in the D/C as i had the excat same issue with and 03 Hilux.

Got a new shaft and "presto" no noise, but it set me back 1800 + GST.

Hurts everytime i remember!!! :cry:

As noted in the post, it uses a custom made straight cut syncro gear set within the standard case!

Dont bother with the exhaust..... This one comes with a full mandrel bent 3' exhaust from the turbo back with high flow cat..

car needs new exhaust and manifold and 02 sensor, its not too bad at the moment, but its nearly impossible to overtake at 100, it really struggles. what is the top speed of them (in reality, not from a factory brochure!) thanks guys, dave I have no troubles overtaking at 100km/h, even 130km/h isnt ...

Turbo is not to big at all... I run a GT25/30 and its great! 260hpatw :twisted:

The exhaust manifold was made by yours truly and tacked together, then sent off for prpfessional welding.

It is made up of 1'3/4' steam pipe mandrel bends, all equal length.

If your after a complete diff with 4.1 ratio's in perfect working condition, i have one in the garage ready to go.....

It came out of my 03 hilux as i swaped it for a 4.88 with locker!
