Hey guys I was just given a turbo and I am not sure if it is to small for my application, I have a Toyota Landcruiser with a 4.2 ltr diesel 1hz engine. Re: 105 cruiser front end issue

Has it had a constant 4wd conversion. is there a button on the dash for centre diff lock. you said the prop shaft stays still, if this is so the transfer case is not engaged. this would make sense if the constant conversion was done. If there is a button on the dash push it and see if the transfer ...

Re: 2LT slow to build revs

I had a very similar problem with mine after I changed the top seal on my pump, it was the linkage alignment on top of the pump that was out, I had to remove the linkage and turn the gear in the pump, as it was not in the correct position for idle. I hope this makes sense. when mine was wrong it ...

hubs

I am looking at my service repair manual, and it says it is for 78 & 79 series 1998 to 04 100 series oct 2000 to 04 and 105 series 1998 to 04,
mine is a 105 series so would that mean I can use all the parts off a 78 & 79 series.
would this be correct.

the airflow meter can cause the engine to over fuel as it tells the computer how much air is going in so it can work out how much fuel to inject in.
If it is stuffed and telling you ECU that there is a heap of air going in, it will dump a heap of fuel in.
just a quess. hope this helps.

it may already be to late, it might be stuffed already.
but sometimes you can dry them out and they will work fine.
but that is one part you dont want water getting into.
try drying it out and see how it goes.
if its still no good try and swap in with another one and see if the runs fine then.
