I think the kits are generally the other way around so you don't piss off oncoming traffic on low beam. This would make low beam halogen & high beam HID So you have replaced the H4? bulb in the round 7" headlights with a halogen & a HID bulb? Or similar? chunderlicious Posted: Tue May 2...

This might sound a bit better now and i am assuming that you are after a zook motor so i would suggest a swift (i think there is a holden varient as well but i cant think of what it is at the moment but it is just a rebadged swift) or you could get a vitara motor or put a toyota 4AGE in it ( or if ...

You do see alot of vehicles with them though... What else can you do when you are carrying 2 spare 33's? I took the single one off the back door as I don't want to be replacing the door. I was going to throw them up on the roof racks but is a fair weight up there & also to do by yourself is quit...

Thats what I was trying to solve... Will only be me, the missus & the dog. Couple of swags or tent. Already got draws in the back & raised suspension with airbags in the rear. It doesn't take much to bring the weight once you have steel b/bar, winch, & all the other bits..

Twin wheel carrier weight?

Just chasing a rough weight of a twin wheel carrier for the back of a GU... Obviously it would be more than the stock bumper, am trying to work out if I can stay within GVM easily enough... I know weights will vary so I am jus chasing an "estimate" even. Obviously the more accurate the bet...

Okay sorry from my manual it called the hemisphere the carrier....

So if I follow the same steps with it as I did originally, but just swap the "hemisphere" part I should need a diff specialist to reset it all. We punched alignment marks into the original diff to mark it...

Thanks heaps

Sorry, I am talking about pulling the carrier that holds the lockright part out of the 3.9 diff centre & swapping it with the 2 pin carrier in the 3.7. So changing the carrier part only out of a 3.9 centre & into a 3.7 centre.

Does that make more sense?

Thanks Jas, the swap is so I can run the lockright in the 3.7 ratio front diff. I have had 3.9's in there & have blown the rear so with easy to get parts (the 3.7's) I am trying to get it going again with the lockers... So I am able to just do the carrier swap at home, no need for specialist too...

I think you will find that is the 1st part to go on any zook.

Just cut it, make sure its tidy & wack a tube bar or remount your bullbar on custom mounts.

VR Rodeo how is your shackle angle with an inch extra spring? Was it enough to give a 45ish degree angle?
