steering leaks

my mwb landcruiser is leaking (heavily) from the steering box from above the right front wheel

just wont to no do i just grab a second hand one from the wreckers or is it fixable,

its a mid wheel base landcruiser with a 3.4 turbo diesel 13bt i saw a machanic 2day he said it could be somthing 2 do with wiring harness what ever that means?? im asking orto (rod) as we speak that web site is great !!!!!!!!!! does anyone no if a normal automatic car stalls when it rolls backwards??

i have a automatic and no nothing about them can anyone tell me if they are surpose to stall when u roll back wards?????? eg? mine when doing a hill climb the moment i come to a complete stop it stalls or even if a roll backwards 10cm or more on the road it sucks i havent even got time to knock it ...

ive had the injectors out and cleaned so they should be right

and it does blow a bit of smoke, someone also suggested i get the injection pump tacken out and tuned,


also suggested my 3inch exhaust is 2 big and should drop it back to
2 1/4 inch

thinking of making a snorkle out of 3inch pipe with rubber bends my only concern is how to connect to the air box cause the intake is on the oppersite side to the inner front gard were the hole is ready for the snorkel, what to do just grab a air box from a 75 series thats if they are differnt ...

i need to install recovery points front and rear before i can join the local club on my mid wheel base cruiser i have no rear bar and just a crappy alloy bullbar with no recovery points. whats my best options here, what do other mwb cruiser owners do on the rear of car do 75series bullbars fit cheers

im getting a dump pipe 3inch straight through exhaust next week and the guy wonts $300 bucks to put it on a dyno and tune the thing after the new exhaust is fitted. Id would love more power (why did i buy an auto) but is it worth $300 anyone else ever had this done what sort of power we talking ...

bout 3yrs now the leafs, when i had the standard shackels from ome they were sweet 2 had stops on them to stop them wrapping round. not shore about the new dakar ome but

ome are pretty sweet i had them for ages can carry a load as well, stiff at first but once they settle they are sweet for a 2inch lift if thats all your after, stay away from iron man my mates got them and it drives like a bus compared to ome

i have a 96 2.4 petrol hilux with a snorkle and every time i hit the smallest of puddles the thing stops and i have 2 get out pull all the leads off and wipe them dry i spray with wd40/rp7 before all trips to try waterprof i just get pissed off seeing a sierra or jimmy etc driving in mud holes over ...
