Fully reconditioned would mean that it has had ever facet of the engine taken back to it OE spec or better. i thought that was blue printing Define better? If an engine is actually "Fully Reco" then you can't sell an off the shelf reco engine for that money and stay in business. Gem engines did it ...

as soon as you get any sort of moisture on the road..
your inside wheel turns faster and breaks traction then your other wheel breaks loose ending in you spinning out of control.
either into a gutter or into oncoming traffic..possibly even hurting some one..
all for saving a couple of hundered $$$

i got a price from campbeltown engine rebuilders..who i think gets them from gem engines they wanted $1800 reco (not sure if was exchange or not) but was 2600 fitted

and a wercker wanted $1400 exchange second hand and couldnt tell me anything about it

Alternative Soft Tops For a Vit

Any one know of any other types of soft tops other than the standard "box" for a Vitara .I heard there are "Bikini" tops but what about the back?
A fast back version would look sweet!

im curently runnin ideas thru my head of a 4 point cage that resembles a "stadium/rally truck" cage
with the center two braces coming down the middle and the spare tyre on the back... just a thought i was toying with

iv had that in mind for a while but to scared to pull it down?
Dooley.....was there much damage inside crank /rods
whats your plan of attack?

is the sump hard to get off with the motor in ?
