[quote="LTD351T"] Vapour injection will top out earlier than the vapour carbed but will give better mileage, vapour injection and boost are not the best combo. Thats not true at all. you just need the right set up. Have a look at this site. I have just started using it and so far it is VERY ...

I did one last week with Tartarini injection. They run ridiculously well. I have not had one single customer that has been dissapointed with their conversion. But I spent nearly 4 days on that one (had to make the kit myself as there was no kit for the 3.5l there were only premade kits for the 3.8 ...

Have done a few of these with Impco over the years. Not the best engine for gas but so far all of the ones I look after are running great. There are a few tricks with the way the system should be wired up so as not to interfere with the petrol ECU operation and diagnostics, otherwise lazy fitters ...

I ve been doin em for years mate. I only fit IMPCO to them and they always run awesome. The high torque's are a great motor on gas BUT make sure your ignition system is in perfect order to eliminate the chance of backfire. Cause when they backfire they love to do a bit of damage to the intake and ...

The reason why I said that is because usally when a lock off is there the tank is newer than Jan 94 and requires it to be functional.
I will keep my comments to myself than shall I ???
Good luck anyway.

Well it isn't RWC without the electric lock off on the tank if it has the provision for one. You shouldn't be getting any gas flow at all if the lock off is not powered up!!!! There is something up there. I hate to be mean but judging by the knowlege you have and what you are calling the CONVERTOR ...

Thats the main reason why I don't convert jeeps to gas when the owner want the tank underneath. Even a smaller diameter tank isn't much better but it would improve it a little but you'll be up for a new tank and straps to suit. The regulations for hang down is pretty crazy when you look at them. You ...

I would tend to wait a couple of more months till we start fitting liquid injection systems.
These systems far exceed anything on the market to date.
And there is a increase in performance in at least 90% of vehicles.

I think the taillights need to be 600mm from the outer edge of the vehicle.
(I think I read this in my Vic. RWC book a long time ago.)
If you need to find out exactly I can check the book again for ya on monday.

It has a BBQ ring type mixer so backfire will not affect. First thing I would try is to make sure the excess flow valve has not been tripped for some funny reason, what you need to do is (with the car off) turn the gas service tap off at the tank and give the tank a couple of bangs just with the ...

You will have problems with compressor lubrication with the newer generation of A/C compressors. You need a old school York type compressor that has a sump and therefore provides constant lubrication to the compressor. Otherwise you will have to figure out a way to provide some sort of lubrication ...

You will not have valve issues on gas with the 4.8 if you get a GOOD, weel tuned Injected LPG system. The main reason why the 4.8 will have problems with valve seat recession is because of incorrect or too lean fuel mixtures when on gas, and this occurs regularly with a old type mixer ring or air ...

The 4.5 efi engine management system shuts down the injectors on over-run. The gas is still being drawn into the engine on over-run even though it is only the idle amount. You got it in one.
