It could be the switch or the wires going to it.
On my rangie both wires had come off put them back on and it worked.

My old mans bestmate has a 6.5 chev turbo in a troope he had a few teething problems (gearboxs blowing up etc) he hasnt had any real problems with the motor and pulls a 25ft trophy around.

Hey all My 84 rangie wont rev. When you try and rev it, it missfires. Ive rebuilt the dizzy everythin workin there put new diaphragms in the carbies and new spark plugs its on gas and petrol and does it on both. Gas is much worse. I want to know what would be the cause before i spend more money ...

Hey team little legs

My racing seats which are monza autotechnica are around about $350 each and the harnesses were $100-$110 i think.

Ive seen the seats advertised, they might of gone down in price as i have seen them bout the $300 mark.

Hey zook4fun

I had the same problem i found it was the headgaskets one had corroded through. And to replace head gaskets on these is real easy. Replace them first before doin anythin else cost ya bout 200-300 if you do it urself better than pullin the whole engine forward.

Ive had my rangie for a year and a half its 84 i had a few dramas when i bought it. The probs were head gaskets and other little things and im in the middle of changing my gearbox should be finished todai hopefully lol.

The ride of a rangie is much better than a toyota or nissan aswell.

The only reason im takin it out is cos the gearbox shat itself and it has done 380000 kms its getin worn and not shifting very smoothly anymore and cruches sometimes

Ive got all the gear just all i need is the gas mixer the place i got gas from they did a bodge job on making the mixers instead of getin the proper ones. There a bunch of idiots that did it.
