BEB's not a problem in the FTE motor, was fixed a loooong time before these were released. Injector lines and timing belt are must do's @ 150,000km , but if you are doing these i would also consider the injectors themselves, especially if you dont know the history of the donor vehicle. I'm currently swaping a 1HD-FTE LHD from France into a US UZJ100 (V8). I've read many threads about BEB issue on earlier 1HD engine, are the BEB ever been a issue on the 1HD-FTE or was it fixed by then?.
