also esab is ok iv used several diff modles from single pahse to 3 phase,

a mate was reinstalling a control arm back to his subi rx imprezza he undid the whole lot from the chassi
now the nuts that hold the plate to the chassi i think are somwhat spot welded
now when he was reinstalling the bolts he used a rattle gun on it and snapped the nut inside the chassi any ideas ...

would be hard pressed to find a 4.2L diesel, they dont even make em for here any more yeah?
im just in a bit of thought why can they make the 4.2L best donk ever better then what toyota has come up with so im told, but yet a simple 3L brings them down?, ah well i'll keep on the search for mor info ...

Got a question on the GU 3L diesel
From what year was the 3L diesel donk reliable???? Meaning it wasn’t like a hand grenade and unpredictably would blow up 2003? 2005?
I’m asking this as i'm considering going back to Nissan patrol and parting ways with my beloved 3.9L v8 disco

just buy a cigweld 200/250 single phase will do everything you want i use them at work for super light welding and the much heavier beads when i need it

wheres the engine number on the 2h motor

400-450 on petty
200-250 on gas is about right mate

Are the brushes in the new alternator serviceable?

Do you have a voltage reg. you can swap over and try.

early this year when i was driving i smelt a strong acid smell when i poped the hood i found the feusable link to glow plugs burnt out

i replaced it with a quick fix

on the way home i found the battery ...

i have the 1995 v8i disco 3.9 5 speed manual

now she been getting noisy as over the time

now i have found a auto (ZF HP 22> from a 1995 modle is it a simple straigh bolt up pattern?? gear levers etc i know i would need to change center console

Personally if your running duel fuel your foolish to run anything other then premium.

Run the highest octane fuel and tune the car to suit, then its slightly less of a compromise.

Yep either the 309L's or 316's will be the go tho i cant see the rods being cheap unless ya know someone in the trade who uses them as for size 2.5's would be ample for what ya doing ...

i thought this higher grade of SS will crack welding to mild steel
i would of thought 304 SS would be better ...

mate id just put in some standard coils get it passed then put back ya 4inch, if everything is adjustable


i think i still got my standard coils laying around if ya want them pm me let me know
