i have one on my 5L diesel hilux. i like it it does get a pain in the ass because i didnt put a flex joint in and it drones through the tray but you can only hear it at idol.

Looking at doing a lift on me bundera and have heard that you can use 80 series std springs.

where i work has is approved to do chassis mods through the DOT but we have to put blue plates on saying there has been a mod to the chassis. you may not have to do it if you are just replacing the rivets but check first.

not sure about 4x4 chassis but at work when we do chassis work and have to nock out rivets we replace them with 8.8 grade bolts. but thats on big trucks!

i have the petrol bundy and what ever gearbox they put on that. thats why im thinking about the auto. from what ive heard the petrol box can only just handle the little 22r let alone a v8.

also is there anyone else other than Marks 4wd that do conversions?

Im trying to find an engine to put in my project bundera. im tossing up between a 304 efi v8 from a commodore or a 1UZ. the other problem i have is what trans to run? im leaning towards getting a 1uz halfcut with an auto in it but i dont want an electronic auto.

id say its your leads or plugs. the same thing happened to my comodore and all it took was a new set of leads and i chucked some good spark plugs in while i was there.

MTQ Engine Systems is one of the best in the australia. the MTQ turbo kit is sold as DTS. check them out. I know a few blokes who have them fitted and they realy are very good and they are a bit cheaper than the others.

i was looking at them a while ago and id buy one over a hilux or navara any day. there was buckets of room it went hard for a diesel and the geabox ratios are great. its not revving its tits off to do 100Km/h and they are realy well priced.

Im looking for someone who has fitted an endless air type of air compressor. i have a 98 hilux with the 3Ltr Diesel. stupidly i went out and converted a sanden A/C pump out of a patrol without working out where to put it and now that the work is done i cant figure out where to put it, so i ask you ...
