Yeah, if you go by toyota's figures they say that the ute gets 11.5ltrs /100 and the troopy 11.9ltrs/ 100. By my calculations im getting high 10's (10.7 and 10.9). When i looked at buying the car i spoke to a few people and some were getting awful economy and others good. Im curious if im just lucky ...

Whats your 4.5 v8 diesel economy like?
Ive only had my 70 series ute for a while, but ive done a few economy tests on it in the last few weeks.
The first tank i did 598km on 64 litres, the second 615km's on 67ltrs.
The car has only done 4000ks so the engine is still tight, but im more than happy with those figures.
