Ended up getting 265/70R16 in the
Bridgestone new style A/T's called 694's
which replace the 693's.
Did Kalbarri, soft sand some mud along the Murchison
and some rock work too, inland and coastal.
Bloody beautiful. Stood up to the rough and soft stuff.

Size is spot on no rubbing and fills ...

265/75R16 fit a 94 jack?

Looking at some B'stone D693's
265/75R16 $215
275/70R16 $225
265/70R16 $259!
Perth $

any trouble in fitting any of these to the Jack.
It doesn't sag at all and is not raised. Normal!
245/70R16 are the norm.

75% Bit 15-20% sand 5-10% gravel

cheers

12V boat wiring advice

I have some left over auto electrical wire rated
3mm - 10amp
Can I use this to wire up some 12V nav lights on the boat?
There are no instructions for installing these.
Two wires pretty thin gauge but looks like that solder wire stuff
come out of the light. 1 Black (earth) and 1 White (power)
I ...

thanks fellas,

The idea is good, cause when ever we arrive to park anywhere,
well it's like coming in for approach in a 747. Almost need a checklist!
To be able to pull up and have the option of closing everything
without having to switch the ignition to on would be nice.

making p/windows work without key

Met this fella the other day that had just bought a 98 jack
from an ex holden service manager.
The holden man did something with the fuse to make the power
windows controlable without the key in the ignition.
The new owner wasn't sure but thought it had something to do with
changing the angle ...

(even that is too much) only to come away paying $400 for all
the bullshit little things THEY say need doing when in fact it's a load
of BS. I went in today to Metro's to ...

air compressor & roof racks.

Will be needing some new tread in prob 6 months time,
so I'll prob look at my options for a 2" lift then and pick the right
profiles for that. Other than that I'm saving the moola for a 5m dinghy
to complete the package ...

Noel,

I'm starting to calm down and may go back tomorrow to
see what sort of deal I can wangle...if any.
Still at $18K with 150K km is still a good price.

It's just the fact of the unknown about how, what and where
the mechanic has been and done that concerns me.

As you would know, from ...

cleaning/servicing basically buying it as it was traded to a ...
