unfortunately cant use the information specified based on the gaurds being trimmed and custom tray.

Engineer specifically asked for measurement to sills.

yes i have given them ALL of the information about the car, have told them that i have this engine, have sent them photos of rolling chassis etc and have not had the opportunity to be able to explain my intentions or whether i am flexible with the build. engineering is a pain in the ass, but build is on hold till i can actually get someone to have a look at the vehicle. unfortunately i have had three engineers turn me down! not for any particular reason stated but just flat turned me down. i dont really understand?

I see, well basically all i need is foe an engineer to view the car before i proceed with the engine gearbox combo. the rolling chassis is complete i.e. suspension axles etc. i was going to proceed with the build until finish purely because it will have the ability to be on the road once engine done ...

I have heard there is an engineer towards bendigo way that has had a lot to do with the engineering of zooks? Just wondering if anybody had a contact for this engineer or one they have used in the past. i am in dire need as i cant continue my build. do want the zook to be registered. any help is ...

I do understand, although the rolling chassis was already fabbed, whereas the only work i've done so far is fixing it up(was rough). i will get an engineer to look at my plans for the engine and gearbox mounting before i take the plunge.

will start a build thread when closer to finishing, so far i have stripped it down painted chassis and suspension components now bracing/gussetting the diffs. Once the diffs are done i will then locate the engine gearbox and transfer.

REALLY? Thats outrageous. . .

I can't believe it would be that expensive. I have decided i will give them a go but if it turns out to be that expensive i can buy 3 pairs of new seats for that same price.

Thanks for the input,

Will keep you all updated on how the engineers goes because i am sure it is going to cause pain. First step is documentation (specs of three cars inc. torque, ratio, mass etc.) complete and sent, am waiting for reply.
