Outer Limits 4x4 Board

So I guess from here I source a couple of new washers before I refit struts.

No washer.....

I know this might seem a silly question but check.
When the struts were intstalled and the factory strut top were re fitted, did they refit the factory large washers that go either side of the strut tops? If there not there, the strut will punch the guts out of the strut top in notime ...

Not sure mate, they are a yellow strut with a dogy suzisport sticker on the side. I Would never recomend them to anyone!

I had heard that about the calmini kits. so that is definately an option, so is welding a friggin piece of steel across the strut top to prevent this from occurring ...

Been a long while sionce I have posted, But I am finally getting back to paying some attention to the zook.

I have had a recurring problem with it for a few years now. Since fitting the lift there has been some issues with the strut top mounts.

I'll have a look mate, pretty sure I kept the old struts out of my 99 (same suspension setup) when I lifted her.

Apologies if this question has been asked a million times before. But has anyone had to replace strup top mounts on their GV's? I busted one of mine about a month ago and so far the only option seems to be genuine parts! at 300 bucks a side it doesn't excite me! :lol:

Now that I finally own the pride and joy, it's time to think about some mod's Has anyone heard of or seen late model Vitara's (I'm talking current shape 4/98 onwards) with any sort of half decent modifications? I am astounded that it got that far on the original tyres, are they the originals? My v6 99 vitara got a whopping 28,000 klms. this was mainatining pressures at 30 psi (dealers recomendation) and rotating and aligning approx every 5,000 klms. admittedly the tyres copped a flogging off road in ...
