You hit the nail on the head blacklion..put an mp3 player in the other day and did exactly that, put the earth to what i thought was the earth in the old plug.. fixed by simply earthing to the body..

I only bought the patrol a month ago and think the problem may have been there from then.. Used a wiring harness for spotties so only wired in to the high beam,battery and an earth tailights and dash work fine even though fuse is blown and it says its for tail lights.. I'm lost . .i have a ...

QG patrol parking lights problem

Can anyone help me fault find a problem with my parking lights..Was putting spotties on the other day and noticed that I didnt have any lights on when i switched the lightswitch to "parking lights".. checked the fuse and it was blown so, as i was doing spotties and it had nothing to do with parking ...
