I have a stock standard 2.8 deisel Hilux, if i turbo it will i need engineers for roadworthy in Victoria?
does anyone have an extract from any ADR's regarding exhaust ending at what distance from the cab? (i thought it was 300mm but its been picked on a roadworthy)

As was stated above your blinkers will flash faster. Resisters are expensive just add a hidden globe somewhere. One for each blinker that slows it back to normal. Or just deal with the fast blinkers. You can't see them sk won't annoy you

i work at a ford dealer in bundy and its my understanding all engines are run in ie no k's on the clock so most likely done during assembly of engine (well probably after its put together) that said id clock up a few k's before really pushing it, just a personal opinion

i need the part about rebuilding swivel hubs and how much pull force i need when adjusting kingpins. Also i heard you need to adjust the height of the swivel hub to center the axle in the inner seal which requires a SST?

I did think about those silica gel type products but wasn't sure if they would be enough. If i completely dry out the tool boxes after about a week there is a puddle of water in the bottom of them. Will give it a go

Condensation in Toolboxes
I have just made some under tray toolboxes, I have made them so the are waterproof including the seals on the doors. I finding im getting a lot of condensation on the inside of the boxes. How can i prevent the condensation, i tried putting a breather in each box but it made no difference. Any ideas?

It tripped the CB, RCD, and safety switch at his house as well and the plug and GPO I could hardly touch it was so hot. Depending which wire touched the framework first the whole shed could have been live for who knows how long! CB's and RCD's dont protect from every scenario. No wonder the welder ...

what intake pipe are you using, mine did the same thing because i had the IAC valve plumbed in before the A/F meter so that air wasnt being metered

Hmm I did find it hard to get out of 4wd :? Thanks for all your help mate, won't be doing that again. Paj maybe didnt do it due to the auto locking hubs and central dif lock etc?
Yeah not sure about the paj, maybe you didn't have the center diff lock locked causing it to act like and open center ...

In case anyone searches for this in the future, the tanks are the same petrol - diesel and so are the senders. Single and extra cab tanks are bigger than dual cab tanks so senders are different as well. Fuel pumps are the same across all petrol models
