No, its correct they are built on the same platform, not the same chassis, that would obviously be different. The info im using has come from nissan usa and japan, im guessing they would know. Well, i went to southern 4x4 in campbellfield on saturday and got to measure and look closely at gearboxs for navaras, I have found that the navaras have the right box, d22 build on same platform as R50's and also found a pedalbox that will fit with almost no mod's. I had a similar prob and it was lower arm bushes that were worn out, you can go genuine nissan or a far cheaper and stronger arm, contact dave at playtime4x4 in sunbury, 03 97406300. He is the only bloke in melb do any aftermarket lower arms, big lifts, etc... he and i have done a LOT of custom work...

OK, the pathy is a 1996 r50 auto 3.3ls V6, the navara i think that was referred to was a D21 but that im not sure of. If you run a 5lt manual comp and put a piggy back chip on it you wont have any problems, if not them you really should consider running the t700 as well, that way you would also get the benefit of having the o/d as well.
