GU 4.5 on gas OR Gu 4.2
Hi,
My mate is planning to sell his highly modified disco and buy a GU. But fuel economy is his major concern. He thinks GU 4.5 running on gas should save more on fuel than a 4.2 diesel. Is that right? Anyone has experience on 4.5 GU running on gas?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Top or front mount intercooler
I know this topic has been discussed many times but I can't find those threads. Looking to fit a intercooler to my gq. I have got a WRX scoop so thinking to fit a top mount but they seem to be smaller than front mounted cooler. However, it's far away from radiator which may be better.
Any idea?

ive been told that the turbo takes less strain off the motor because its not having to work as hard all the time unless you are getting into it all the time wih the turbo.. I thought about that too. Unless I really have a go on the engine (5000 rpm+), the motor should do less to create same or more ...

GQ 4" suspension question
Hi Guys,
I have recently fitted 4" lift kit and running 35" tyres. The rear tyres are rubbing the guard when the suspension at full travel.
Is it unusual to occur on a 4" lift GQ ?
How can I rectify the problem?
Thanks

Hi guys,
My GU has lost a lot of power after fitting 35". If I change the diff, do I need to change both front and rear?
Any good diff shops around SE Melbourne you can recommend?

Change diff center after fitting 35"
Hi guys,
I am looking to change the diff center. Just couple questions:
1. What ratio of diff center is available? 4.3, 4.5, 4.8 ?
2. How much do they cost around?
3. Where can I get them in Melbourne area?
4. Do I need to get the front diff as well?
Thanks
