The rim has a extra curve on the inside and its just hitting on the outer radius of the calliper if that makes sence. I drew a paint drawing to explain better. My paint skills ain't too good.

I have just got my 15 x 8 -50 series 98 steel rims from Pro comp. They fit fine on the rear but the fronts hit the brake calliper. So I am getting a 5-6mm spacer and if it still dont fit I will be looking at shaving a few mm off the brake calliper but I rekon the spacers should make everything clear ...

get rid f the boots and put on some seal savers. Used to have them on my dirt bike. Its basically a bit of neoprene that acts like a wiper blade as the shocks compresses cleaning the shock piston/shaft as it does.

I have never like that idea on bikes as it holds all the dust/mud in the fabric and ...

Where about did you get them from? I have tried quite a few places so far and none can get ones to suit 70mm OD.

It is just one more story in the long saga of tough dog crap, everything tough dog sell is shit, and that comes from (unfortunately) owning their crap.
Lesson for us all here.

Its not really a tough dog fault, my front ones are still good. Its just when I was getting my suspension sorted the rear ...

big bore tough dogs shroud is broken. What to do?

Well the black plastic shrouds have broke and crumpled up so am wondering if there is a soft rubber concertina shock boot (like the rancho ones) that is big enough to fit onto a big bore shock? Needs to to 70mm diameter to fit over the shock.
I have tryed all the 4x4 shops in town and they know of ...

Just a quick question about the JD model 3 hand operated bender is it able to bend 50mm OD 3.5mm wall thickness tube? would it be fairly easy or be pretty tough going. I was under the impression that the speedworks one would of been better than the JD cause it was hydrolic but this has now got me ...

I have just been through this (my centre is in just gotta do the swivel hubs and wheel bearings to finish), best I could get was $1160 for the locker, $80 for the carrier bearings and $100 to fit it into the centre and test it and I pulled out the centre and took it to them. Re: Superior Engineering lift kits. Anyone tried them?

What do you intend to use the truck for? What size tires do you intend running? Very rare someone needs more than 4inch lift.

Mainly weekend runs in the state forestry, maybe some trips to landcruiser park (has the roughly the same terrain as the forestry) and just runs to work and back. Probably ...

Superior Engineering lift kits. Anyone tried them?

I am looking at lifting my newly aquired Gq wagon. Was looking at the 4-5 inch or the 6-7 inch drop box kits? Has anyone tried them and is there much difference between the different stages? Are they fairly easy to intall? I want it mainly for flex but it still has to drive good on the hi way. Thanks.
