I've done both over the years (esky and fridge) and you just can't beat a good fridge. I've got an old engel 80 ltr and it does a family of five no problems for a 4-5 days with room for plenty of beer (just top up each day).
We camp and m'bike at least once a month so we get good use. A worthwhile ...

My locker has the 4cylinder cap bolts so i'm not sure where that leaves me. What was the difference in the 4 and 6 bolt models?

Regarding the shaft, I can only assume the bearing had scored the shaft and instead of notifying the owner and fixing properly at the time the transmission joint decided ...

I would be interested in seeing what you decided to do. I have a similar problem with and RD02 Flange Cap. I am waiting for ARB diff section in Melbourne to open on the 14th Jan to see if an RD33 Flange Cap will suit (it will need a 50mm carrier bearing instead of 45mm).
