battery disconnected for a minimum of 10 mins (i do 15 to be sure) but yeah it is the turbo timer that does it. And the light will come back on after the first shutdown anyway. Mine is doing the same but i just haven't got to changing it.

The LED lights that you can buy from auto shops (combo stop/tail/indicator) have coloured LED's behind coloured plastic, probably for the above reasons. I think using the white ones will look too washed out, the coloured ones are still plenty bright.

Not always.

White led bulbs will give off too pale a colour in existing incandescent housings. Been there and went with white for the whole brightness thing, and put simply, it looked like shit. Next time I'm going the coloured bulbs

Cometic MLS gaskets? Also what is the deck finish like on the block? If it is too coarse then you will have troubles no matter what you do until it is re-decked.

My first question is why 454 big block? We're gtting better power figures from a 434 small block. And also, seeing that your putting it in a 4x4, the slight size difference will leave more room for accessories and fans etc.

There is nothing wrong with carbies when you know what your doing. Barry ...

yeh mate they have a 'thermocouple' which depending on your dump pipe will have a plug you remove and bolt it into or (like me) you will have to drill and tap the dump pipe and install it as close as possible to the turbo (can be pre or post turbo)

Do you have an electric pump to push fuel up to the injector pump? Mine would barely idle at 500 and would max at 1500rpm. Why? Blocked the lift pump. Just fitted a filter before it.

By the way that was at 10psi

alt should be charging at about 14.4v while car is running if not then ur alt is not good.

14.4v is a border line high... most cars with a bit of age wont reach 14v due to voltage drop in plugs etc... 13.5v is acceptable, obviously higher the better, but even with a new alternator you probably ...

ok slight difficulty here. the plugs are too big to fit through the housing so I'm going to have to cut them n reattach them. Will that pose any problems? Also what are these HID adapter things for the Lightforces and where can I get them? That is, if they will do the Roolites too.
