Dude speek to lux89. He turboed his 3RZ. Runs a Haltech ecu, eBay turbo, front mount intercooler etc. Pretty phat truck.
And he didn't spend no where near 7g.

mine were the same on my hilux, just threw some grease on the spline and hit it on then took it off then back on, easy as now. just gotta wear it in a bit.

people i have a 92 80 series with a 1HD-T. The turbo started making a howling noise the other day goin to work, . i noticed a howling sound coming from the turbo under load and at the same time i loose all boost.......but it then creates boost again and all power comes back and the noise dissapears ...

might sound stupid but make sure all your intake ducting is tight at the
hose clamps, and check out the ducting where it ripples to see if it has splits in it.
