Looking to see who has run a narrow tyre on a zuk with a heavy 8 ply load rating. I want a skinny tyre and nothing much over 30". Currently looking at some 215/85/16 tyre on ebay. basketcase - have you impacted anything with yours yet? looks like it'd rip right through the 3mm chassis rail... better to put crush tube in the rail and bolt all the way through it... Was thinking about crush tubes, but got to find a bolt or nut that will sit inside that bit below the body mount ...

In a sierra I can get close to the same low ratio with reasonable reduction gearing as I can with extremely low diff ratios.

Calmini axles seem to be a cheap go between stock and full blown chromo ones. Check them out if you are on a tight budget. But with a worked 2 litre and welded diff on 33's I'd be going the ducks nuts of axles. But then you still need to upgrade the cv's. Cheapest way is birfield cups and they are ...
