Interchangeable Parts with NK Model

Hi All. Can anyone tell me if the rear tailgate and bumpers from an NK Model are interchangeable with NH, NJ, and NL Models. Also if anyone has some spares around the Sydney region I may be interested in buying them - ended up that person who rear ended me was not insured so I have to rely on the 3 ...

Take it to Bears Gear and Diff out near St Mary's. He reconditioned my box for $650.00 and was by far the cheapest in Sydney - this was over 8 months ago and box is still fine. Other places were quoting $1200 plus.

Rear End Accident

Hi All. Just got rear ended by a 100 series Landy in my NK Pajero. Good news is that the Landy driver is insured so I can claim the damage. I was able to drive off but the Landy was stuffed (looks like a write off). Other than obvious damage is there anything In should tell the repairer to pay ...

I pulled mine off and bent the tabs in a little on the inside of the guard. This made the fit snug again and have had no problem since (I did have to use a piece of wood and hammer to the guard over the rear of the tail shaft). With out the guard you run the risk of letting the rear transfer case ...

Have pulled the bash plates off underneath my 3.0L paj to do some major service and have driven through creek crossings without the bash plates (yet to put them back on) and have had no problems with stalling. I would suggest you have an electrical fault somewhere that is caused by water over a ...

Wife just drove off, noticed the parkers aren't working as well. POCUK site says dash, tail and parkers are all on the same fuse. Will check exterior lights tomoz. I had the same prob with one night. Took eternity to find the fuse (checked all under dash and only then went looking under the hood ...

I have a 3.0L Pajero on LPG and I would have preferred a 3.5L. The 3.5L is better on economy than the 3.0L with added benefit of more power. Had to reco the gearbox after 240K (cost $660 - took a bit of shopping) but the motor is still fine. I recommend getting LPG put on as the expense of using the ...
Where did you find an NK with a 24V 3.0 V6? I thought they were all 3.5 by the NK?
In my garage. Mitsu did make a 3L NK. Initially I was skeptical that my Mitsu may have been a re badged earlier model (especially since mine also has rear leaf springs) but the compliance ...

The 3.0L model in the NK is OK on gas as they came out with a 24 valve single cam motor (I think it was the same as the Triton - I think the engine number on these models are 6G72AC.. whereas earlier model engine numbers were 6G72AA..). All earlier 3L models had poor valve seats and were not ...

V5MT1 Gearbox

Hi All Need to replace my gearbox from a 96 3.0L Pajero. Have got a decent price on a reconditioned box ($850) but can also get hold of a second hand box for around $150 with transfer case (with a bit of luck). Second hand box has 150K on it and mine has done 240K. Which way would other owners go ...
