cheers i thought it would be around 44 cause thats what my 180 is.

also has anyone got a haltech interceptor to work on a tb45 properly? (fixed the ignition flat spot)

ok was quoted from a mate who owns a gas workshop 695 for the complete gas reasearch kit with b2 converter adaptor throtle body etc is this the way to go???. dunno wat to do but i want the cheapest option obviously but something reliable lol.

yeh sure does mate but just check the compliance plate of the vehicle u get the diff out of and ur car. there is some model difference ive heard but not 100% sure so when i did mine i just matched the numbers on the plates. should be hg41 for 4.1 or hg43 for 4.3 etc

yeh im stoked with the result im still running the standard steering dampner which is shagged and 35's not a single shake or noise. Just hope it flexs good now lol

ok seems i found the problem

the spline on the cv shaft is slipping it sheered most of the teeth off it lol
i thought the cv would of broke before that happened

yeh thats wat im thinkin mate but ive done it before an had no problems but ive never used a centre out of such a late model gu. maybe they changed i dunno. very annoyin but cause i was so keen to go wheelin this weekend lol

its definatly a front i pulled it out myself. got me buggered ay lol ohwell ill jus have to pull it back out an have a look at wats goin on. might jus end up running front an rear gu housings

i thought the same to but the axle definatly is spinning in the centre

the gu centre is out of a gu 3 i think. it was about an 06/07 model i think

axle spline difference in gq/gu patrols

hey i have a gu front airlocker i wanted to fit into my gq but the axle count is different, does anyone know if u can do a axle swap or anything or do i have to get the gu front housing

any help would be much appreciated

cool thanks for the help much appreciated. it has a airline running to the bearing carrier side so im guessing its arb

also ive heard a rumour that rb30 patrols run 4.3 ratio diffs is this true?

i picked up a diff centre today out of a 02 gu patrol fitted with an airlocker jus worndering if someone could help me indentify the brand of locker as it has no brand name or colours etc on it and wondering if it will fit in my 89 tb42 gq patrol
