Re: ARB EZ Tyre Deflators
Unless your running an endless air i cant see a valve core causing inconvinience to most 12v compressors (the new ARB twin motor might be the exception) currently an endless air 6cfm with plans to add a tank and the arb twin motor compressor... i.e. 12cfm inflating one tyre is not a big deal, but ...

Re: ARB EZ Tyre Deflators
slightly off topic - but has anyone created/modified one of these deflaters to pull the valve core when inflating tyres?
i'm no engineer, but logic tells me that if a tyre deflates faster without a valve stem, then it must also inflate faster without one too.

i'm no vitara guru, but this sounds similar to an issue i have witnessed on a baleno motored sierra.. the problem turned out to be MAP sensor due to a split rubber vaccum hose on the engine. it could be worth checking out your hoses first if you are trying to watch your wallet. the other suggestion ...

Bigger Valves for Inflating Tyres
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has replaced their standard tyre valves for a larger valve (i.e. Nitto 1/4") to allow faster tyre inflation?
If yes - what setup (fittings / meter / pressure valve) did you use?
Thanks,
Greg

You might need to plug into the brown wire that comes out of the loom next to the sierra coil.... that's the tacho signal wire.BlueSuzy wrote: The sierra should have wiring for a tacho already in the loom.? Just not in the guages..

bit off topic but noticed zooks with chromos mentioned whats the limits with these will they handle a 35 silverstone i think it is as much about the terrain and the driving style than just the tyres, but for the sake of reference, i have some trail tough chromo front axels with 35" krawlers that ...

Re: Shock hoops
Which brand would you reccommend? Superior engineering to suit 2" body lift or low range offroad ? make sure you complete the steps in order Mcwilly - that will help you make a better decision. 1. design suspension 2. setup springs and shackles (assuming leaf sprung) 3. measure max stuff and droop ...

given that this is a 4wd website, i will assume that you want a bit of off-road commentry too. personally i have never driven one, but a direct quote from a club member down here: "jimnys - drivetrain made of glass" I presume he meant the weak sort of glass that you find in light bulbs rather than ...

Pics or it didnt happen :) That's a fair enough comment i guess - it's hard to believe that a car could possibly be taller than AJSR's... Next time i see it, i will try to have the camera ready with a fish eye lense to ensure i manage to get both the very top of the roof, and the very bottom of the ...

AJSR - Out-talled by another zook
Attention AJSR - your tallest suzuki title could be under threat!
Today i saw a bright yellow highroof sierra on some muddies cruising along dandenong road.
There is a risk that another suzuki could infact look even more unstable than your car when placed on any side angle over 5%.

comon guys... Awesome exhaust work! It's all 2" with extractors, 2 hotdogs, a triple flow and a cat... all of it mounted above the bottom-line of the chassis. there's quite a bit of head scratching in that exhaust - but the end result is a car with an exhaust volume you can talk over the top of - which is great ...

you do realise sierras have an offset rear output? only way to do it is run the second sierra tcase upside down but then you have shifting and oiling issues you could run triple transfers... he has said that he owns 3 of them. the first one goes in the stock position, and the other two are bolted ...

CJ, How about talking to Matt (TT) - perhaps he could cut a length of something with some splines in it and make it up for you? Otherwise, i'm thinking that dobbins would surely make a more expensive shaft than snake racing... that would have to be the way to go. http://www.dobbinengineering.com ...
