Re: ARB EZ Tyre Deflators

Unless your running an endless air i cant see a valve core causing inconvinience to most 12v compressors (the new ARB twin motor might be the exception) currently an endless air 6cfm with plans to add a tank and the arb twin motor compressor... i.e. 12cfm inflating one tyre is not a big deal, but ...

Re: ARB EZ Tyre Deflators

slightly off topic - but has anyone created/modified one of these deflaters to pull the valve core when inflating tyres?

i'm no engineer, but logic tells me that if a tyre deflates faster without a valve stem, then it must also inflate faster without one too.

I run a set of 35x13.5x15 on my swb sierra. Onroad - they are fantastic. Mine are unbalanced on mechanical beadlocks and run very true. They are fairly quiet unless the ground is wet - then they howl quite loudly. Flatspotting overnight is minimal - and they take very little time to 'correct ...

i'm no vitara guru, but this sounds similar to an issue i have witnessed on a baleno motored sierra.. the problem turned out to be MAP sensor due to a split rubber vaccum hose on the engine. it could be worth checking out your hoses first if you are trying to watch your wallet. the other suggestion ...

Bigger Valves for Inflating Tyres

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has replaced their standard tyre valves for a larger valve (i.e. Nitto 1/4") to allow faster tyre inflation?

If yes - what setup (fittings / meter / pressure valve) did you use?

Thanks,
Greg

you could have converted back to spring under and solved the steering problem and the rear spring destruction issue at the same time by now pete :D

under-diff clearance is not an issue when the car is sitting in the shed missing out on trips because you can't steer it

cut the floor out of the car and raise the tank.

not a quick and easy solution, but it will give you the clearance that you are after.

You might need to plug into the brown wire that comes out of the loom next to the sierra coil.... that's the tacho signal wire.

i vote for GQ diffs... the easy option isn't always the best option. just because the MQ come close to bolting in - that's not enough reason to pick them. just pull the body off the car and move put a different transfer in there to sort out the diff offset issue. really - how hard could it

Which brand would you reccommend? AJSR - Out-talled by another zook

Attention AJSR - your tallest suzuki title could be under threat!

Today i saw a bright yellow highroof sierra on some muddies cruising along dandenong road.

There is a risk that another suzuki could infact look even more unstable than your car when placed on any side angle over 5%.
