Hi guys, its a LWB NH or NJ with a 3.5 litre with twin garrett T28 turbos running about 11 psi boost, through an auto box (don't know what type), it absolutely flies  . This engine replaces the previous supercharged 3 litre which apparently died due to overuse. Owned by Rob Chapman from ...

Looks standard to me, the 30mm body lift in this model combined with the small standard tyres give it a tall look. You can fill in the gap above the wheels with a good set of 33's or 285's and also get a lot more clearance downstairs. Looks like a nice truck.

That's a good question, what should you use in a front diff with an air locker? Standard diff oil, or does ARB have a special brew they recommend?

Sounds like a great deal, must talk to the financial controller.

NK model Mar 97-Oct 97

Also needs 16" rims, front brakes too large. Calipers hit the rim. This model was the first release with the larger front brakes used in the NL.

Not quite as low as I was hoping for, but any change will be better than standard. 3.14 (or lower) would certainly be preferred.

It's a great place to screw a GPS mount or mobile phone mount or a vase of flowers or anything else of more use than the Oh Shit gauge. I haven't seen my gauge for years, I was always too busy to look at it in those situations when the information may have been interesting.

Due for a new set soon and will probably stay with the same. For play I use BFG 285/75/16 MT's on Nissan GU rims. Love the ...

Hi Ian,

I am probably getting a local diff expert to install it (he has done many ARB lockers in the past), but haven't quite decided yet. Looks relatively easy to remove the front diff myself and send it to be done, but available time may sway my decision.

Cheers

Hi Scott, another option may be to fit a tank from a LWB Paj, about 92 L standard. I think it should fit now you have the lift in? (Don't know for sure) Not as much capacity as the aftermarket ones but a lot cheaper if it fits. Auxilary tanks seem to be more trouble than they are worth with all the ...

Hi, for 15" rims the GQ Patrol are the best fit on your Paj, or try the generic Paj/Navara offset white rims, and for 16x7" try Prado steelies, they are the same offset as Paj rims. GU Patrol 16x8" also fit well if you want a wider rim. Watch out for Hilux rims, some of them have a very wide offset ...

Neutral is SCARY !! If you are going to have to use brakes to slow your auto why not leave ...
