I was getting about 16-17L/100km around town in the 3.4L V6 (auto, 2000 model, 145,000km), and I had the impression that was about normal. Now I'm running gas, and it seems like it has gone from 20L/100km to around 22L/100km, so I'll see if I can tweak a bit more economy into mine as well! Hi there ...

I believe the series one doesnt have an o2 sensor mine doesnt 97 model. They only come with an 02 sensor in the series 2 which for memory is in late 99 models and upwards. Its also around the same time they changed the cam belt to be changed from 100 thou to 150 thou on the series 2. Hence why I ...
