Well my 2lte head has died and the engine could do with a rebuild so I'm thinking about a vn-vr v6 conversion. I have read that a rodeo 3.5 v6 auto bellhousing will bolt to the a340 ( toyota auto) and to the Buick v6. Now my question is what signals does the auto take or need from the engine bay? I ...

Any where straight back from the seat. can be nearly straight up on a bar to down under a seat. if it hasn't had one before it could have a cover plug over it.

Do it your self, if you can change a tyre you can put some spacers in. donr know if they are against the law but i have never been pulled up with 50 mm spacers all round that are bright red

do know if they will be legal but the fit no problems. if you get pulled up for them chances are thats going to be the least of your problems

if you do the hagan mod with out doing the left cv change right away, do you have enough shaft length on stock cvs for the locking hubs to work?

is there a bigger cv you can use in the front end of a vitara?
i have read about the hagan (think thats the name) to widen and make it use 2 lefts cvs but you still end up with a small cv.
car is a 92 lwb auto and on 31's with 2 inch lift.

why are you looking at doing all that work and keeping it leaf sprung? you will have to do a huge chassis extension to move the front diff forward enough to get the balance the car right. have a look at 3 link set ups, very easy to set up and easy to get signed off

its been done quite a few times but most people on here hate anything thats not suzuki engine :agrue: to help with the balance of the car your need to move your diff forward by about 4 inches or more. check out some of the us sites, they have quite a few using the buick (vn to vr) v6. also have you ...

another qusetion is the maf before or after the the turbo? if its after try moving it to before it so its not getting boost but still reading how much air is going into the engine.

its not the pump, i had a turbo sierra with a vl pump and no problems ever! going around in circles but have you had a guage on it and it tell you its got 60 psi at the tbi? if yes its not the problem you have plenty of fuel next qusetion is if the injector big enough to get the fuel into the engine ...

is the dizzy on it vac advance or the 4 pin elec one? it its a vac you need a one way valve in that.

what else have you changed? is it a stumble or a big miss. with forced induction you only need to up the psi buy 6 psi for the injector to work properly any way but are you maxing out the injector? my bet is its got something to do with timing, heat range of plugs. have you put one way valves in the ...
