doing mine at the moment. how do i get the center bearing off?
got the tail shaft apart, but cant see how it can come off? its a 89

Thats what i thought when i bought it, they both look exactly the same, only difference i could pick was (and the guy i bought it off told me this) that i would have to swap the extension housing, how ever the output shaft from my gearbox has 21 teeth the output shaft on the new box has 26 teeth ...

ok, so how do i mate up the two splines? yes, you are right in that the extension housings are different and wont mate up to my transfer. but thats not the problem, the problem is the splines have a different amount of teeth on them to my coupling (im guessing the coupling is the part that slips ...

so ive smashed most of the teeth of the gear on the input shaft into the gearbox.. not sure what other damage is done (if any) because i havent pulled the box apart yet, but im looking at a second hand replacement box, probably cos i figure it will be cheaper than a rebuild (cost?) ? and i wanna get ...

got the horn working ended up just rewiring it.. with a new fuse as for the hazards, the blinkers work when the hazards are are off but as soon as i push the button for them the blinkers go off, i have power to the back of the hazard switch, and when the blinkers are on, the wires flash in time with ...
