What are you doing for hubs / hub gears with the stronger axles now the hubs are already another weak point? Will them be making chromo hub gears so you don’t start stripping the splines on the cv?

It’s got shocking gearing at the moment and he wants to increase his tire size soon as well and regearing the diffs seems the best option but his been told that if he wants to get lower gears he will also need new air lockers as w ...

Re: custom 80 front diff help

If your going to shorten it your better fringing off the knuckle weld and removing the length from the end then re fitting the ball! As for beefing an 80 front. I run a v8 and 5:1 atlas, 4.88 diff gears and 40" Stickys with no real issues. Longs with drive flanges. Solid pinion spacer and locker ...

Are they the size diameter tho? The strength of the 60 out ways the clearance grain of the 80. Time is cheap it’s easy to cut and swap face plates just time consuming

Evan I was the stage manager for that track and what we said was if you aimed straight at the post on that step with full intention of driving over it it was the 50 point penalty but if you had a go at the step then took the post it was only bunting penalty. There was a clear difference between the ...

Re: Tuff Truck 2013> Rules Update

The design requirements are pretty clear on the CCDA website. You can print all the material and design parameters on a big A3 sheet of paper, stick to your wall for quick reference as you build. So design will be easily policed by TTC. It does matter what material is used, just as it matters how ...
