So I fold the windscreen forward and check the earth from there without moving dash?

Wipers stopped working

I have a Suzuki Sierra 1988 SJ413. The other day started the car, turned on the wipers and they stopped half way up the windscreen. Now I can't get them to move. I've checked the fuse for the wipers, it's fine. What can I check next? Haynes manual doesn't say anything about checking but for a wiper ...

Ok, I've basically worked out whats wrong and can fix it now. Pulled off the instrument cover, removed two phillips head screws holding the blower control switch to the dash. Ok, I've checked the fuse with a test light and it was fine. I think I've also checked the power to the fan... I don't think there would be too much mud in it...

I've had the car for around 2 years now, and the heater was working for roughly 1 year. I have never been offroad in it :?
