TRITON FUEL CONSUMPTION

Hi All,
I just fitted a bull bar and winch to my ML triton and have noted my range on one tank of diesel has changed from 1,100km to 850km. I am assuming it has to do with the air flow efficiency over the intercooler.
Can anyone suggest a new location for the intercooler or a retro fit fan??? Any ...

This is already very good feed back. The Mazda is costly at 96,000Km due to disintegrating 5th gears. A common issue apparently. Thanks. James

Hi All,
My 5th Gear went just the other day at 96,000km. I didnt know what the hell it was until I read this web site. Now I know. And yes I had just done 1000km of trailer towing that same day. I always tow a velatively light trailer and would find traveling in 4th too slow going for the long trips ...
