Mine is also dual fuel so will be using a 440cfm gas research throttlebody along with twin B2 convertors & lock offs...

Holden 304 + cam change
Vortech V2 SQ supercharger with 12psi
Methanol/water injection with a hobbs switch set for 10-11psi (or a full throttle switch)...

Those Ebay manifolds are made of mild steel with only 1.6mm wall thickness.
If your getting it hot from working it hard climbing terrain etc and then hitting cold water while doing crossings there is a very good chance of it cracking.

The only downside to a straight gas set up IMO is range. With duel fuel, I can carry jerries of petrol to keep topped up when on a day trip or weekend away far from a servo. Can't do that with gas. What machine should I be looking at? Want to spend around $2500 but can squeeze approx $5000 if I had to. Something with all the bells & whistles, good after sales service & spare parts repairs etc... (Will have a better idea & understanding of what I want/need once I start my TAFE course I guess)

I take it you have a B2 convertor? You can buy replacement metal lids for them. I'd go look for an Impco model E convertor though if it was me. It will probably cost you less to buy one of these 2nd hand then what it would a new lid for your current convertor and it will allow alot more power and ...

You need a hose that runs from the convertor to pre turbo.

From memory it is mounted in the centre of the convertor or the primer (has been awhile) & runs to between the air filter & turbo. pretty sure there is a diagram on the gas research website that may help...

Does it run the balance tube from converter to pre turbo?
Running the gas carb sidewards won't effect it at all.

You want some back pressure to produce power.
Non turbo I would look at 2.5, and for turbo 3" JMO...

The T04E is pretty small (.50 front, .63 rear & 57 trim).

IMO the standard turbo is too small for an RB30DET. Even on a stock RB25 it spools up fairly quickly in my Stagea. On a 3 litre it would run out of puff as it goes beyond it's efficiency range. Also keep in mind the ceramic rear on these that like to give up the ghost... For a Patrol I would ...

I just got a pair of Monza seats this afternoon.
Can't you just adapt the standard mounts etc to the seats?
I havn't looked at my rails yet but I'd of thought you could just bolt them up...

I need the cargo area & 3rd row seat as I have a family & the GQ is our all rounder. Also it's not just the LPG tank that makes me want to lift it, I am hoping for good clearance all round as I wish to do a fair bit of off road work in mild to wild conditions...

So a 4 inch lift with 35's should be good for all round use?

If using impco gear get a model E convertor.
They are good for constant 325hp or 500hp for up to 30 seconds before freezing over.
