Im just gunna leave it how it is.
Is there any way of telling if the battery is shitting itself while ur driving say smoke or alternator light?

my alternator has a built in regulator so any other wires to or from the alternator or battery could be rs?
The battery was larger than my other one, at 400CCA compared to 330CCA but it was still pretty charged say above 12.4V

Yeh mate tested her today and still shot. Before i started it in the morning it read 12.6V. Then i started it and reads bout 14.4-14.5 and 'flashes' 14.6 randomly so when it flashes 14.6 my overvoltage alarm goes off. i connected it to another battery though a set of jumper leads and it read 14.3 ...

yeh i think it is accurate
On my old mans cruiser it reads 14.2V steady
thought it might b out so i checked it on the cruiser and seems fine

was sittin at bout 12.6 this arvo after i took it for a spin and turned it off. try 2morrow morning and let ya know. what does the early morning voltage tell ya bout it?

Yeh its about 12.6V
I think ill take her for another spin around the block in day so i dont need the headlights and go from there.

yeh i charged it up on a 240V wall charger coz it was gettin a bit too low and only now it reads 14.4V-14.6V
Dont know whether the wall charge did anything 2 the battery?
Should i drain a bit of juice form her n then try?

yeh my original one which had some sort of problem has fixed itself and sits at 14.1 to 14.2 which is excellent

dunno what went wrong in the firstplace though
unbolted it off the pulley and when i put it back on it was stuffed.
then yesterday put it back on and all good so.....

standard was insufficient to charge my dual battery setup
