Removing the Charcoal Canister on a UZJ100R
Does anyone know what lines do what in the charcoal canister, I wanted to remove it to fit some stuff in its place under the bonnet. So i just wanted to check and see which lines I might need to join as a bypass of the canister or which lines can simply be blocked off or whatever.?.?

Re: Is the Lexus LX470 the same as 100 series Landcruiser?
Yeah they are virtually the same vehicle, the main difference between them is the LX470 has AHC Hydraulic suspension, which, if you wanted to put a bit of a lift in your car would make it slightly more difficult. I've read stories of blokes in the states that have had to pull the whole system out to ...

I can see the wheel nuts without taking the centre caps off, haha, all tight. Yeah I've worked on a few with exhausts before while I was mechancing it up at the toyota dealership in town here, they do sound sick. Just gotta save my pennies, hah.

Re: Feedback on the UZJ100's
Yeah I have thought that, but there isnt much room and the gain probably wouldn't be worth the effort. While I was under there this morning sussing out a noise ive found that the drivers side inner cv is stuffed, does anyone know if someone makes aftermarket CV's that are stronger that factory?

Re: Feedback on the UZJ100's
Thanks fellas, I ended up getting a 2005 model Uzj with the 5 speed auto. Picked it up on Sunday. And drove it back from brissy. It's a nice vehicle to drive, I'm starting to do some research now as to whether or not anyone makes full replacement A-arms for them, as that would be the most reliable ...

Feedback on the UZJ100's
I'm looking at buying a 98 model uzj100 GXV, I'll be flying to brissy next weekend to check it out, just wondering if there is anything I should be weary of. It has 250,000 kms on it.
Thanks in advance,
Nathan

1HD-FTE Power Figures
I am looking to go a conversion into my current 1HZ powered 105 series. The 1HD-FTE, while i know is very expensive to buy, is lookin like the easiest candidate for the swap, but my other alternative would have to be an LS2 6.0L, the engines are cheaper but there would be more cost getting it fitted ...

What Lift is needed to fit 35's on a TJ Wrangler???
Does anyone know how much lift you need to put uner a TJ Wrangler in order to fit 35 inch tyres under it? I'm asking for a friend, he doesn't want to have to go into changing arms and stuff, so I'm guessing it'll be like a 2" suspension kit, and a certain amount of body lift? Also how hard is it to ...

1HD-T
Just a quick question, Is the 1HDT direct injection, or are the 1HDFTE's the only ones with direct injection? Cos the 1HDT looks pretty much like a 1HZ with a factory turbo kit bolted on..

Engine Upgrades on 1HZ
G'day, I'm now looking to upgrade my current motor (1HZ) instead of going to a 1HD as i previously posted for info about. I currently have a safari turbo kit on it, and Im chasing any info on how to go about making the motor itself produce more power (i.e: making it flow better and changing ...

Unfortunately I'm at the stage of having to either rebuild my 1hz or replace it with something else, so i was wondering what is involved in putting a 1HD motor into my HZJ105R 98 model cruiser.

1HZ Modifications?
I am wondering, you always see 4.2 Nissan Diesels bombed out making close to or just over 300 hp. But i am yet to find a 1HZ with similar power, as an owner of a 1HZ, before i get into trying to make some decent horsepower out of my motor i want to know if there is any concrete reasons this hasnt ...
