Hi All
I have just added an ARB steel bull bar to the Disco and just inquiring as to what spring do I need to fit to the front for the extra wieght.
The Disco is stock standard apart from the bull bar.
I do not wish to raise it, as I need to get into the company car park.

Bull Bar for S1 Disco required urgently

Does anyone have a bull bar for a S1 Disco, air bag compatable?
I had an accident on Sunday night and the repairer is going to replace the bumper bar.
If I can secure a bull bar by tomorrow, I can replace the bumper bar with the bull bar.
Thanks

What is the expected life of a Disc Tdi Auto

I am looking at purchasing a 1996-1998 Disco Tdi. Not sure if auto or manual is best, as mostly city driving for work, so Auto sounds better. How many Kms are the auto good for? Most have done around 220,000Kms. Have been told that auto keeps engine in the rev range for turbo.

I have tried for some time to stop the fuel filler cap from leaking.

Polyair Bags or Heavier Springs

I have just fitted new 2" higher springs all round. When loaded the Rangie sags in the rear by about 1-2 inches (25-50mm). Is it better to change to heavier springs or to add polyair bags to inflate when loaded? Does the heavier springs decrease wheel travel?

The 88 model box has the gear leavers reversed to that of the 85 model.

We had to swap over the selection mechanism. Something between the two boxes is different, hence the 6mm packer.

I would really like to know what that difference is, just for my knowledge if nothing else.

Has anyone converted an LT77 from an 88 model to fit into an 85 model R/R?

Best way to cut back door

To all that have fitted flares to 4 door Rangie.

What is the best way to cut the double skin back doors. I was concidering using either an air hacksaw or 4" grinder with thin cut blade. You need to cut outside skin separate to inside sklin.

Any comments.
