whats the differance between sierra carb and vitara carb besides jetting .
are they a asin carb and how reliable are they and would they bolt straight onto a 1.3 coily or do they have differnt bolt pattern ect. :?:

2L vitara into sierra has it been done in australia

does anyone have any info on a 2l vitara swap for the sierra i have found a little bit of info but i dont know who does it or how much it would cost

mine is a coily by the way i think they have differnt gearing to leaf sprung.
i had to roll the flairs on the front a bit as they would scrub on big bumps .

got 235 75 15s on mine with stock gearing yes you do use forth a lot i dont even use fifth on the hiway as it slows down and its a bit of a pain offroad at times as the stock 1.3 doesnt have a enough torque. you tend to use the clutch a bit more to offroad.

thanks again for the info ,i also read about the 1.6 vitara carb might be another option but wouldnt it be nearly the same as the sierra carb or is it better ?

thanks for your reply and for the info . the reason i want to replace the stock carb is because all of the shafts have a fair amount of wear in them to my surprize for a car with only 101000 km on it. i was justing wanting to get a carb thats a bit more reliable and cheap as the coin is a bit tight ...

just wanted to find out a bit of info on putting on a toyota carb to replace the factory piece of sh!t . like what model carb is best i assume early corolla and if they clear the bonnet and if it is a straight bolt on or do you need a adapter (if made) or make one myself :?:
