here is a shot of my nearly finished escudo, Has 2" body lift and 2" spring lift. Was a 5 door but was cut down when i got it so i added the tray and the sliders.

just running petrol 96 octane, i can get aEFI of a 3.9 disco, just would like to know whats i'm getting into before i give it a go

if not holley, what is my best option as i've had a guts full of constant problems with these carbs

I Have a set of standard stomberg carbs on an 86 3.5l rangie, i'm sick to death of the carbs giving me hassles, was told that the holly carb is a better option, if this is the case, what should i be looking for, 2 barrel , 4 barrel etc. and about what should i be paying for them.

no there is no cough and splutter it just losses power when you go past 1/2 way on the pedal, when you bring it back a bit it's fine, but you are only doing 5km.

When was the fuel filter changed? plugs leads etc?

If you ring it in first and second, does it die then?

Does it cough and splutter or just run out of power?

can give it shit in first and second but when you get to third and put thre foot down past 1/2 there is nothing there. just put new plugs ...

sorry its a 81 3.5l range rover estate running stromberg carbs

I have been having problems with the rover lately, with excelerater at half throtle on the open road there is no power, i can park the vehicle and rev it to full range but as soon as i start driving i lose power past 3rd gear, can anyone help

i have been reading this tread with great interest and am very keen to try the 4k carb, is there anything i have to do to it, its going onto a 1300 with a electronic supercharger. cheers
