Ok the engine is in. The VE 6l manifolds slightly modified as per Gouldy,s photos worked a treat. Auto elec has done wiring.Engine turns over but will not fire. Tech tool will not talk to ecu. We are not sure if this is due to the fact that we are not running the holden BCM.Can anyone shed some ...

What did everyone do about speed sensors? I understand that you need some sort of speed sensor setup to enable the ecu to function properly.

the marks kit is alright but the exhaust is a major problem for me. trying to get someone to build custom headers is impossible where i live so i have to move the engine mounts so that a pre built manifold can fit and i dont know if i can. well i know a guy that put a gen 3 in his ute, instead of getting expensive custom headers made up apparently you can get the standard 6 litre ones to fit in much easier. i know they're not gonna give you the most possible horsepower in the universe but they're pretty cheap if you buy em from the ...

Gen III conversion

I am just about to embark on a Gen III implant into an 89 GQ 4.2 petrol vehicle. I intend to use the original nissan manual gearbox.
I will be purchasing all the adapter products from marks adapters.
Can anyone give any tips or tricks? How have you found marks adapters products? ie Fit??
