the ferog feroza is still; kicking around too, i recently sold it, after 2 years of great fun in it( plus a few no so fun times towards the end...) it's kicking around raymond terrace area still. missing it more everytime i see it drive past

yes and yess, turns out that the bolt isnt broken, i just couldnt thread it good snuff with my fingers. and the alt and steering pump are fine. the bolt had just vibrated itself loose, causeing a bit of movment of the pump and hence extra strain on a worn pulley...therefore snapping the pully. new ...

yeah it's not so much just putting the belt back on, i'd for sure give that a go. but it's a snapped bolt and a broken pully that i a) dont have the tools. and b) the skilz to fix. thats why it's now sitting out the front of the local mech... hopefully some bastage steals it and writes it off ...

well the new altenator has lasted 5 years.... but on monday it ground me to a halt... not sure 100% if it's the altenator itself or a bolt that has snapped. but either way the belt has half come off one of the pullys and that pully has broken off it's bolt that holds it on. all good fun while going ...

And when you pull the whole lot apart, use a decent set of sidecutters to pull the springs. You can then do each side in 10 minutes vs. up to an hour, skun knuckles and a heap of swearing :D just for clarification.... what do u do with the side cutters? use them to turn that sproket like bit or ?

yeah motor stays in shen doing rms, just take the gearbox out....could do clutch at same time.

well, took it to carline today, turns out that it's the rear main seal, but it's not leaking much....yet. but also got them to look at my front hubs as it wasn't engaging, and they are clogged and rusty and generally shitted....along with my bearings.... so they are pulling all that stuff apart and ...

it seems to be gear oil, cause i've been checking my oil every day this week and it's not going down as far as i can see. hmmm. big job to replace?
