IMHO I would not be using Chinese recovery gear of any kind purely because they don't have the same design and safety standards that western countries do. .

pretty keen to get some trepadors i think, anybody got a picture of these in radial 35s. seen the pic on the maxxis site doesnt really do it justice.
and anybody recommend a tyre mob round brissy for these, so far ryan at fourbys had the best price and was a great help too, cheers big ears.

they quite soft are they, heard you get around 45000kms out of em, look a bit to crazy for me, the silverstone sports look good, but doesnt look like they do a 35.

the interco trxus look awesome unfortunately were $485 a tyre, and a minimum of a 8 week wait before they are on oz, so might look into the trepadores now

thanks for the input guys turned out the starter motor was full of dirt and f@#!% the bearins and brushes etc,etc. so has been fully rebuilt for $200.

Does it sound like the battery is going flat when you are trying to start it?

also feel the negative terminal after its tried cranking for a bit see if its hot

try tapping the solenoid on top of the starter motor with a jack handle or similar while turning the key. If it starts better then its likely on its way out.

yer tried that and nothing, dont think its the solenoid (correct me if im wrong) but thought if it was the solenoid when you turn the key ...

started the car with the KEY this morning and headed out to glasshouse, car slowly got harder and harder to start til nothing and ended up jumpin it home.

checked the battery and is fine and dont think its the starter solenoid as it was tryin to start but just dyin more and more in ...

yer gotta rate the bighorns too. got em in 33s, found em a lot better than the wranglers. great in mud, and good at rocks if tyre pressure let right down as they are quite a hard tyre. seem fine on road cant complain

get some drop boxes and run standard arm and superior flex arm

and drop the body lift out

chop the guards and run 35s

Thinking thats the way im gonna go, dont think i should have to chop guards to get 35s to fit ...

AFTER SOME OPINIONS HERE, GOT A 94 GQ UTE, IT HAS 33s AND A 4" LIFT KIT WITH ES9000 SHOCKS AND A 2" BODY LIFT. IT IS AN EVERYDAY CAR AND WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE TO 35s AND DROP IT DOWN 2".
