i have heard of the 4.1 x-flow motor conversion but never the ohc 4litre done making it fit isnt a issuse just the bell housing is a worry

righto its has adpater and the bellhousing has "RITTER ADPATER" on it, the auto looks like a C4

well does this help......... in this gregory's workshop book the 4spd transfer looks the same as what i have, but ill grab a torch and go and have a look

all the star gears are smashed to a million bits and marked all the inside of the diff housing including chewing the splines off the end of the out put shaft shaft

not sure what it is only new to rangies but it has big rectangle inspection plate out of 80mod with auto, and i have a 90 mod rangie and the transfer different what i need is rear output shaft and differental unit if that makes sense

thanks lokka ,yes the missus was very lucky, how much do you know about auto's in the early rangie (80mod) i picked up a 2 door the other day cheap with crook transfer i pulled the back of the transfer out last night to find the differential unit completely chewed up including the end of the rear ...

would a 253 be an option the reason i say this i have a 253 in the shed i have engine mounts to do the conversion a cluey mate of mine recons he could modify my bellhousing that i have to put a holden into cruiser to suit disco 5spd
