Re: Pajero dealer troubles
Apologies it its a 3.2 diesel.
They admitted that there is a Problem since we sent a video
To them but aren't goin to fix it because the problem is intermittent
And doesn't bring up fault codes... Hence the new battery.
I believe it is more serious than a battery running full volts and 1/2 CCA.

everywhere
seriously the chassis is super thin even when compared to my daihatsu.
i welded on a bar about 2x200mm long onto the chassis and levered on it - tore a hole in the chassis before the steel bent
brace the bends up the chassis front an back and you will be peaches

Re: Rear steer
Rear steer in a patrol isnt the best idea IMO
The full chassis is too wide to accomodate rear steer to its full potential.
better off goin for a dig unit, unless narrowing the chassis is an option

i think if you pull the transfer case from the gearbox you can see the output
is like a splined cup.
if you can cut the hilux mounting face off and replace with daihatsu bolt
pattern, all i guess you need is a machined spline to go into the daihatsu

ps- if you dont have an electric winch on your car carrier you need to get one.
It makes any tow so much easier if the job doesnt have propulsion.
