Correct! There are a few different types of pumps that dont like SVO/WVO, through a bit of research it seems that its the more modern IP's that fail frequently due to it.
4D56/4 i believe use a VE style pump which, luckily.. loves WVO!
But as i said.. it needs to be very well filtered oil

i get around 800km round town in my triton, same engine.. i also baby my truck. i just recently had a new IP and all the injectors overhauled, that helped a HELL of alot in economy. A mandrel bent exhaust or 'sport exhaust' is definatley worth it! A set of extractors leading on to a 2.5" or even a 2.25" MANDREL bent exhaust will go a treat.
