Correct! There are a few different types of pumps that dont like SVO/WVO, through a bit of research it seems that its the more modern IP's that fail frequently due to it.

4D56/4 i believe use a VE style pump which, luckily.. loves WVO!

But as i said.. it needs to be very well filtered oil

What i have done is bought a aux fuel tank (cost me 40 buks off ebay) that goes in the back of my Triton (I have the 2.5TDI 4D56T aswell) which the WVO sits in, then i have a fuel line going from the tank to a heat exchange and the front of the vehicle, the heat ex...

i get around 800km round town in my triton, same engine.. i also baby my truck. i just recently had a new IP and all the injectors overhauled, that helped a HELL of alot in economy. I also had 16psi of boost and a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust... its takes $140 worth of fuel, 800kms is not bad. doe...

lets say i got for 2" lift

i would need some extended shackles for the rear leaf springs? shuld i change the rear leaf's or leave them stock?

for the front, i wind up the stock torsion bar and get some new shocks?

do i need a special shock to counter the lift?

i adjusted the CAS just a second a go, it was a bit slow to rev up and after i adjusted it slightly it seemed better. i havent driven it yet.

a bloke said that it could be the head, needing a reco?

yepp, i found where the stick is. the reason i couldnt find it is beacuse the head of it had been snapped off and it was the little o ring and a little bit of plastic
