Re: ZD30 Pro's and Con's

Thanks for the reply's.

The original block would have been an 01' but I dont know if the it has a new engine block now or if they just rebuilt the original, wasn't there something about the early ZD30 heads or blocks being porous as well?

ZD30 Pro's and Con's

Hey Guys,

I'm looking at a ZD30 Auto with a new engine.
1. Is it worth while?
2. What are the Auto Boxes Like?
3. What should I watch out for?

Cheers,

Re: Your thoughts

I run 4.1:1 ratios, and we hope to cover some country.
The reason for changing tyres was to decrease road noise as the fairer sex doesn't appreciate it as much as I do and I think it's sad to wear out a set of good mudders on the road and not in the bush.

Your thoughts

hey guys, I currently run 35x12.5'' Goodyear MTR's for daily driving, as I'm starting to use the Patrol more for road use do you think I should try to swap my current wheels and tyres for a set of either 33' AT's or 35' AT's as they are still at about 70-80% or would you recommend keeping them. We ...

swaping dashes out of GQ's

Has anyone swaped or replaced a dash in a GQ?
If so how difficult was it and are there any special things to watch out for.

Cheers

Well I'm convinced now the best thing to do is to keep it. just need to get some time to spend on it to restore it back to its former glory.

GQ Bush Kit

Hey Lads, I'm thinking I should re-do the bushes under the old girl, as they are starting to look a little tired, and I'll have a free couple of hours with the long weekend coming up. So do I go rubber or poly? And where is the best place to get a kit from? Oh and how much should I expect to pay ...

Thanks for the hot tips guys looks like I'll just continue to love for a while longer now and continue to give it the love it so rightfully deserves. Problem is that it's been sitting for the last three years so all the little maintenance jobs that would have been done during the time are now upon ...

What do you reckon my truck is worth.

I'm tossing up whether to sell my truck and buy a newer one or to keep it. I currently have a 92' Mav. It's a custom extra cab with 440mm behind the B pillar made to look as factory as possible using a 97' rear cab cut (the full buble one) It has been mod plated aswell. * It runs on 35'' MTR's ...
