Is the hole in the end of the shaft threaded? If there is a hole that's thread get a bolt that fits and put it in and give it a tug while putting the cir clip on. If not u got other problems.

I've seen a couple of twisted splines from hitting things, if this is the case you won't be able to just straighten the steering wheel cause the lock to lock won't be equal. As for the shake, check wheel balance, bearings and even the swivel hub bearings.

i dont see why they didnt just make a factory diesel/gas system to pass emissions. probably way to simple for those smart engineers

It could be the immobilizer or the earth points for the immobilizer. Not an uncommon fault.
