does anyone no weather the gq front drop boxes will fit into a s1 disco with patrol diff in the front i have been told this will help on and offroad driveability by far.is this true

urban red neck. how big a lift did you go as im thinking of using my existing 3inch lift springs and adding 50mm coil spacers. what would be the best way to correct driveline angles and castor. is there anyway i cngive you a call and discuss a few things that are troubling me.

no im just about to pull my diffs out and start the fun part. but yes i do have a spare set of diffs

yes but i was told by a mate that there is couple page step by step guide on putting the gq diffs into a s1 disco i have been looking for it on here but cant seem to find it if anyone can help me on this it would be greatly appreciated

does anyone have a step by step write up on fitting gq diffs into a s1 disco. i would like to print it and see exactly how hard its going to be and wether i can do it in house instead of taking somewhere.

i no that the patrol diffs for instance running 35s the tyres will stick out of the guards around a incha nd a half. which will increase your wheel track and give you more stability.

did you do the conversion yourself or did you pay someone $1000 to do it. yeah ive heard the same anything bigger than 31s on a rover and youll blow something. i think the gq diffs are the way to go bigger stronger and better diff ratios

from what i heard maxi have closed down im not sure to how true this is but the shop i was talking to about diffs as i am working out what to do to be able to fit 35s to my s1 disco. he said straight away patrol diffs ill blow the disco ones up and seen as i have a set lying around at home i thought ...
