update i just picked up a complete 2.8td that was running for $200 i now have all the parts i need so this saturday ill be swaping cams first just to see if i can get away with just doing that but if it turns out bad ill swap heads. ill try and get some photo's up

well i pulled the cam pully off tonight and the key way is smashed to bits , so the head is coming off in the morning and the rebuild starts i'll keep you guys posted

i think it should be all good in side it can still turn over

well on my drive to work the timming belt snapped the shut down straight away and i rolled to a stop.


ive got all the motor apart doing thats no worries but ive got no idea on how to line all the timming back up again. has anyone done one before? if anyone has done this before im willing to pay ...

hey cris yeah mate ive used the two screws and the locking plate, thats what i cant understand how its coming loose?

ive put new front wheel bearings in my gu and for some reason the wheel bearing keeps coming loose ill drive it about 100 meters and its loose again ive re done its about 5 times any ideas please i need my truck for work

ive got a gu 2.8td got it for ten and half not the fastest thing on the road but does the job i get around 700ks from both tanks i can sit on 120 on the highway with 35's. petrol or diesil patrols are weapons.Thats my 2 cents

hey i've got a gu 2.8 td its using a lot of water i cant find any leaks theres no water in the oil just had everything cleaned out new themo.The guage will shoot up to the line before hot than drop to half way real fast its going thru about 3 litters of water about every 40ks. it just started to do ...

hey guys got a few problems with my 95 tf 2.6 rodeo its not getting any spark from the coil ive changed everything like dizzy coil computer but it just wont start ive taken it to work shops its cost me $300 for nothing i just cant seem to get it to start any help or advice would be a great help ...
